Mass Home OptionsHelp and options for Massachusetts homeowners

Free, private, no-pressure guidance

Behind on your mortgage? You have more options than you think.

We're local, licensed real estate agents who help Massachusetts homeowners find a way forward: selling at full value, a short sale when you owe more than the home is worth, or keeping the home. The first conversation is free, and nothing is decided on it.

  • No cost to you
  • Completely confidential
  • Local to the South Shore and Norfolk County

Three paths, explained plainly

01

Sell at full market value

If the home is worth more than you owe, a regular sale lets you keep the difference. Waiting for an auction usually means losing it.

03

Keep your home

A loan modification or repayment plan may be possible. A HUD-approved housing counselor can help for free: 800-569-4287. We'll point you there if that's the better fit.

How it works

  1. A free, private call. Fifteen minutes about your situation. No paperwork, no commitment.
  2. A clear plan. We look at what the home is worth and what you owe, and lay out every option, including ones that don't involve us.
  3. We do the heavy lifting. If you choose to sell, we price, market, and negotiate, and in a short sale we deal with the bank for you.

Common questions

Does this cost me anything?

No. Talking to us is free. If you sell, our commission is paid from the sale. In a short sale the lender pays it. We never charge homeowners an upfront fee.

Are you my bank, or a government program?

No. We're licensed real estate agents with RE/MAX Synergy. We're not your lender, a law firm, or a government agency.

Will anyone find out I reached out?

No. Your conversation with us is private.

What if I want to keep my home?

Then we'll tell you that, and point you to a free HUD-approved housing counselor (800-569-4287) who can help with a loan modification or repayment plan.

Is it too late?

Usually not. There are often several months between the first notice and a sale date, but options narrow as time passes, so it's worth talking sooner.
